Opening the Door to Equitable Housing Opportunity
For decades, CHAI has been providing HUD-approved Homebuyer Education Workshops to first-time homebuyers to meet its mission of creating access to safe and affordable housing. CHAI is excited to have the opportunity to extend this much needed knowledge to parents of children enrolled in Baltimore City’s Early Head Start program. Connected through a community contact, CHAI’s Housing Counselor, Linda Lee, has been offering workshops to Head Start parents who are interested in learning the steps to begin the journey to homeownership. CHAI continues to strengthen the fabric of neighborhoods by creating equitable housing opportunity- and helping residents to build a stronger financial future while promoting homeownership in northwest Baltimore.
