Helping Older Adults Get Around Town

CHAIWAY

We are thrilled to have relaunched the CHAIway, a program of CHAI and AgeWell, to get older adults to where they need to go – independently. CHAIway will be rolled out in phases as it expands to serve the community.

PHASE 1

CHAIway OTG (On the Go): Qualifying adults age 55+ who reside in CHAI’s General Service Area of Cheswolde, Cross Country, Fallstaff, Glen, Mt. Washington, and Pikesville and are part of NNC, Warm House or are a Senior Home Repair and Benefits client or live at ANY of CHAI’s Senior Living Communities may enroll. Participants will have access to on-demand discounted Uber and Lyft rides through our transportation coordination partner, On the Go. The service will offer one-way and round-trip rides to grocery stores, doctor appointments, social visits — and more — within a ten-mile distance from the pick-up location.  There is a fee associated with this program.
