Northwest Neighbors Connecting
Northwest Neighbors Connecting
CHAI’s Northwest Neighbors Connecting (NNC) is a synergetic group of individuals who give and receive services supporting their ability to age in place while enhancing their physical, emotional, and social well-being.
NNC’s most popular, member-driven programs include Diversity Dialogue, Healthy Cooking, Exercise Classes, Book Club, Curiosity, Needlers, Explorers Circle, Art Class and Village Gathering.
Who We Are
Based on the three core pillars of Volunteerism, Engagement and Inspiration, NNC offers its members the opportunity to exchange knowledge and time, participate in social events, educational and cultural activities and inspire one another to create and experience life to the fullest.
We come together to sustain a village that:
- • Supports its members’ ability to age in community
- • Reduces isolation by providing framework for social connection
- • Evolves as new members bring new ideas, interests and skill sets
- • Creates an open space where all are welcome to participate
