Weinberg Place Resident Recognized for His Heart and Service at National Conference

Each year, the Service Coordinators from all of CHAI’s affordable housing communities attend the National Service Coordinator Conference to learn, share, and grow together. This year, our team connected with expert presenters, exchanged valuable resources, and even traveled to Annapolis to advocate for expanding service coordination across Maryland. But the true highlight? One of our very own, Mr. J from CHAI’s Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Place, was named the 2025 Resident of the Year! Nominated by CHAI’s Service Coordinators, Mr. J was recognized for his selflessness, dedication, and unwavering volunteer spirit in support of his fellow residents. We are so proud of Mr. J and grateful to our Service Coordinators for their hard work and heart. Together, they show that at CHAI, it’s more than housing—it’s community.
