Warm House Brings Joy and Connection to Orthodox Adults

Warm House, one of CHAI’s programs for older adults, offers a space for women to connect socially and spiritually. Modeled after an Israeli program, Warm House brings together approximately 50 Orthodox Jewish women three times each week for in-person luncheons, Zoom meetings, and conference calls. Each luncheon features unique entertainment, from cooking demonstrations to piano recitals, creating opportunities for participants to give and receive friendship and support while fostering a sense of purpose and belonging. A recent program showcased talent from within the group when a member led the group in a heartfelt sing-along while playing guitar. One participant remarked, “The Warm House luncheon is the highlight of my week. I enjoy the company so much and look forward to spending the afternoon with all of my newfound friends.”
