Strengthening Community Bonds through Food, Music, and Fun
CHAI is thrilled to be a part of the second annual Taste of Northwest event to be held on Sunday, August 13. This family-friendly outdoor festival was brought to life last summer through the collaborative efforts of the Northwest Baltimore Partnership, of which CHAI is a founding member. Taste of Northwest is an exciting event that builds community and spotlights local food vendors and merchants in northwest Baltimore. This year’s event will include a live performance from regional klezmer band, Seth Kibel & The Kleztet, a fashion show featuring YBI African Apparel originals, as well as children’s activities hosted by the Weinberg Park Heights JCC, Sankofa Children’s Museum of African Cultures, and @ The House, and much more. We hope you will join us at this community event, as we come together to revel in the pleasures of good food, great music, and engaged community.
