Reverand Arnold Howard Recognized for Six Years of Dedication to NNC
Last month, at the Northwest Neighbors Connecting (NNC) Village Gathering, NNC members and friends came together to recognize outgoing President Reverand Arnold Howard for over six years of leadership. During the gathering, incoming co-presidents Ilysa Cohen and Sharie Blum presented Reverand Howard with a plaque and engraved watch reading, “Love, NNC 2018-2024.” Arnold has supported the growth of NNC by significantly enhancing community engagement and programs, including the Diversity Dialogue group, which he will continue to co-chair. “NNC represents the truth that human diversity does not have to negate human unity. The good work of helping to create a space for personal interactions leading to appreciation and respect for one another has been the highlight of my time at NNC. At the end of the day, we are one,” Arnold said about his transition. He is one of the founding members of NNC and one of its most committed supporters and participants.
