Pimlico Redevelopment Community Compact Signed

CHAI is pleased to share that the Pimlico Redevelopment Community Compact
was formally completed and signed this morning. The Compact ensures the voices of neighborhood groups will be heard throughout the process to redevelop the Pimlico Race Course property and highlights key areas of focus to enhance the quality of life in the surrounding neighborhoods. CHAI was honored to take a lead role in convening neighborhood groups and drafting the Compact.
Thank you to our elected officials for your leadership in this effort – Senator Jill Carter and Delegates Dalya Attar, Tony Bridges and Samuel I. Rosenberg of the 41st District delegation, Senator Antonio Hayes and Delegates Frank Conaway, Nick Mosby (now City Council President) and Melissa Wells of the 40th District delegation, Councilman Isaac “Yitzy” Schleifer, Councilwoman Sharon Green Middleton, and then-City Council President, now Mayor Brandon Scott – as well as our partners LifeBridge Health and Park Heights Renaissance, along with all of the neighborhood associations and groups who worked hard to advocate for the community. We also appreciate the strong advocacy of the Mayor’s Office, Bill Cole, Baltimore Development Corp. and Maryland Stadium Authority. The future of Park Heights is indeed bright.
