Northwest Baltimore Partnership Brings Big Investment to Park Heights and Pikesville

Since its founding in 2018, the Northwest Baltimore Partnership (NWBP) has secured over $7.5 million in funding through the Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development’s Baltimore Regional Neighborhood Initiative (BRNI). CHAI is excited to share that the FY 2025 BRNI awards, announced last month, will support several transformative capital projects in northwest Baltimore City and County. The varied projects include Agrihood Baltimore, a program of Plantation Park Heights Urban Farm, which will be a thriving marketplace and urban agriculture training institute in Central Park Heights. Another significant project is the revitalization of Reisterstown Road Plaza, which received a $1 million grant through a new state reinvestment program. Under new local ownership, this project will transform the Plaza into a vibrant town center, breathing new life into this vital community hub. CHAI congratulates all NWBP partners who received funding this year. Together, we’re building value and strengthening connections from Park Circle to Pikesville.
