NNC Members are Aging with Intention

In place of their monthly village gathering, Northwest Neighbors Connecting (NNC) participated in an inspiring educational program hosted by AgeWell, Jewish Community Services, and other agencies at the Edward A. Myerberg Center. The Greatest Gift: Discussing and Planning for the Future offered tools and guidance to help older adults prepare for life’s important decisions with confidence and care. Participants received personalized planning binders and learned from expert speakers: Jan H.K. Cardin on estate planning, Beth Land Hecht on the value of open conversations, and Eliza Feller of Sol Levinson on the benefits of advanced funeral planning. The event fostered a welcoming space for learning. NNC members will continue learning together later this month through a discussion series led by CHAI’s senior Home Repair and Benefits program manager focusing on quality of life in aging. The series will explore how thoughtful planning and community support can help us live well today and into the future.
