NNC Celebrates Ten Years of Connection
On June 14, CHAI’s Northwest Neighbors Connecting (NNC) gathered at the Myerberg Center to celebrate NNC’s 10th anniversary! Since 2012, this ever-evolving group of active, creative and independent adults has organized and participated in countless cultural, social and educational activities that have served as powerful catalysts for meaningful connections – which is at the core of NNC’s mission to support older adults to age successfully in community. Members took the opportunity to honor volunteers for their service. Founding member and Board President, Rev. Arnold Howard adds, “This is a celebration of the commitment of truly dedicated members who have unselfishly given of their time, talents, and resources in support of our mission and goals.”
