Home Sweet Home at Weinberg House
CHAI is thrilled to announce the successful completion of the renovation of Weinberg House, delivering a fresh, modern living experience in the heart of downtown Pikesville. Since moving back into their units in August, residents have been enjoying their beautifully updated apartments and community spaces. We recently celebrated this accomplishment with a housewarming party for our residents, attended by CHAI board and staff members, alongside development partners who helped make this renovation project possible. Guests enjoyed touring the property and had the opportunity to see new amenities and an open unit, featuring energy-efficient appliances, accessibility improvements, wood-inspired flooring, and generous closet space. Residents enjoyed the opportunity to open the doors to their community, share a meal, and have fun at a Sip & Paint workshop. The renovations at Weinberg House are part of CHAI’s Preservation Project, a 15-year effort to revitalize 1,599 units of affordable senior housing in northwest Baltimore and preserve them for decades to come. With Weinberg House complete, CHAI will soon begin the renovation of its third property in the Preservation Project queue: Weinberg Woods.
