Happy Hispanic Heritage Month from CHAI
CHAI is committed to building strong, inclusive neighborhoods where everyone feels connected and valued. One way we do this is by partnering with schools like Fallstaff and Cross Country Elementary/Middle Schools to support students, families, and staff. We also collaborate with neighborhood groups like the Fallstaff Improvement Association, with whom we co-lead the Fallstaff Multicultural Organizing Project. This initiative brings together residents of all backgrounds to build stronger connections; celebrate diversity; and create a cleaner, safer, and more inclusive neighborhood. From cultural celebrations at schools to community paint nights—like the one we hosted in July—the project offers meaningful opportunities for neighbors to come together, share experiences, and learn from one another. As we celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month, we honor the community spirit that makes northwest Baltimore such a dynamic place to live, and the people who are working together to shape its future.
