FMOP Hosts Virtual Tour at Reginald F. Lewis Museum to Honor Black History
One of the goals of CHAI’s Fallstaff Multicultural Organizing Project (FMOP) is to bridge cultural gaps in one of Baltimore’s most diverse neighborhoods. In honor of Black History month, the FMOP planned a virtual tour of Men of Change: Power. Triumph. Truth., the newest installation at Baltimore’s own Reginald F. Lewis Museum of Maryland African American History & Culture. On Wednesday, March 9, at 7:00 p.m. participants will be guided through the exhibit, which profiles revolutionary African American men—including Muhammad Ali, James Baldwin, Ta-Nehisi Coates, W.E.B Du Bois, and Kendrick Lamar—whose journeys have altered the history and culture of the country and how they achieved excellence in spite of society’s barriers. This event is free and open to all. To register, please contact Sherrell Savage, CHAI’s Northwest Community and Schools Director by March 8.
