Featured in the Jewish Times: Myerberg and MAPS

August 7, 2026

A recent Baltimore Jewish Times article highlighted the partnership between the Edward A. Myerberg Center and the Maryland Association for Parkinson Support (MAPS), whose office is located at the Myerberg Center, where they also provide programs and support for people living with Parkinson’s disease. The Myerberg member featured in the story shares how Rock Steady Boxing, one of several MAPS programs offered at the Center, has benefited both her husband, who has Parkinson’s, and their family. Our partnership brings together the best of both organizations: specialized Parkinson’s-focused support from MAPS and the warm, welcoming community of the Myerberg Center. In addition to MAPS offerings, Myerberg members enjoy more than 80 weekly classes and programs that promote wellness, creativity, lifelong learning, and friendship. We’re proud that the Jewish Times chose to highlight this effective collaboration that wraps support around community members affected by Parkinson’s Disease in such a meaningful way.
