Fall Good Neighbor Day: A Celebration of Community

December 13, 2024

Each fall, northwest Baltimore comes together for Good Neighbor Day, a cherished tradition of community engagement and service. This year, CHAI and the Jewish Connection Network hosted the first-ever two-day cleanup, inviting residents from Cross Country, Cheswolde, Fallstaff, Glen, and Mount Washington to join a friendly competition to beautify the area. Volunteers worked tirelessly, collecting hundreds of pounds of trash and debris from Western Run Creek and surrounding neighborhoods. The top three groups collecting the most trash were awarded gold, silver, and bronze medals, along with gift cards to honor their efforts. Everyone had fun as they tried to outdo one another. Thank you to everyone who participated! We look forward to continuing this tradition, celebrating the strength, pride, and spirit of collaboration in the community.
