Connecting Community Through Wellness at the Annual Health Fair

On February 12, the Edward A. Myerberg Center did what it does best: bring people together. Our third annual Health Fair welcomed 225 members and friends for a morning that felt energetic, engaging, and unmistakably Myerberg. With nearly 60 vendors throughout the building, there was something new to discover at every turn. Members moved from Chef Alba Johnson’s healthy cooking demonstrations to Dr. David Ajibade’s talk on brain health, stretched out in Flow Yoga with Marcie Plotkin, and settled down for a restorative sound bath with La Stone of The Salt Sanctuary of Maryland. The Safeway clinic was also onsite, offering easy access to routine vaccines, giving many attendees an easy way to stay up to date on their health. At the Myerberg, healthy and active aging is a way of life. Offering approximately 80 programs each week, our members are always learning, moving, and connecting. The Health Fair was a natural extension of that spirit. In the days that followed, our feeds were full of photos and reflections showing just how vibrant and connected the Myerberg community is. We’ve gathered those shared moments into a collection you can enjoy by clicking here. Our team is already looking forward to hosting this impactful event again next year!
