CHAIway Hits the Road to the Power of Age Expo

Last week, our CHAIway program manager proudly represented CHAI at the Power of Age Expo at the Maryland State Fairgrounds in Timonium. As part of the AgeWell family of resources, we stood alongside the Edward A. Myerberg Center and other Associated system partners to showcase the latest information, resources, products, and services to reimagine aging with thousands of older adults, caregivers, and service providers from across the region. Stationed at the bustling AgeWell booth, CHAI spoke with visitors eager to learn about our transportation services and exciting volunteer opportunities through CHAIway. Becoming a driver is a meaningful way to support older adults in our community while building social connections. Whether you’re retired, have flexible hours, or just want to give back, CHAIway welcomes compassionate individuals to join our team of volunteers. CHAIway volunteers choose the rides—as many or as few as desired. It’s a meaningful opportunity you can tailor to fit your schedule!
