CHAI’s Housing Work Recognized by Local Partners
Last month, CHAI’s work in creating housing opportunity was recognized by two longtime community partners. Representatives from Fulton Bank and Bank of America visited the CHAI office to present the organization with generous gifts. The funding will support CHAI’s housing stability counseling services and Senior Home Repair program, which provides repairs and modifications to the homes of low-income seniors in northwest Baltimore, helping them to remain in their own homes safely and affordably as they age. During their visits, the bank representatives spoke about the importance of this work in light of the current trends in the housing market. CHAI values these partnerships that help us strengthen northwest Baltimore.
