CHAI Welcomes Catherine Stokes
We are thrilled to welcome Catherine Stokes to the CHAI team as Vice President of Housing Planning & Development! Catherine brings more than 20 years of experience in affordable housing and community development with a background spanning public, private, and nonprofit sectors across multiple states. She has led multidisciplinary teams and brings deep expertise in Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) and HUD financing, supporting both new construction and redevelopment projects. Catherine steps into this role as Ellen Jarrett has transitioned into an advisory role after 34 years of leading CHAI’s housing development work and helping create more than 1,700 units of affordable housing across northwest Baltimore. We’re grateful that Ellen, Catherine, and Lisa Stachura, our program manager, are working together to develop and preserve affordable housing in northwest Baltimore. CHAI’s housing work is in good hands!
