CHAI Welcomes Amanda Rothschild
CHAI is pleased to welcome Amanda Rothschild as Project Manager for the Pikesville Downtown Partnership (PDP), a community coalition dedicated to implementing the Pikesville Revitalization Action Plan. Amanda served previously in this role through PDP coalition member, the Greater Baltimore Chamber of Commerce, and is excited to continue the work with CHAI’s support. She brings more than 15 years of experience in community development, urban planning, and entrepreneurship, and holds a master’s degree in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Hawai’i at Mānoa and a bachelor’s in English Literature from UMBC. Prior community work includes serving as Director of Neighborhood Initiatives for the Greater Remington Improvement Association, where she led grant-funded projects, civic events, and institutional partnerships. She is also a founding partner of Charmington’s Café in Baltimore, giving her a small business owner’s perspective on commercial-corridor revitalization. A proud Pikesville High graduate, Amanda feels a personal connection to the work of strengthening the community’s commercial corridors, public spaces, and local economy.
