CHAI Leads Effort to Beautify Glen
In partnership with the Glen Neighborhood Improvement Association and Councilman Isaac “Yitzy” Schleifer’s office, CHAI participated in Baltimore City’s BMORE Beautiful program, a community spruce-up effort to “keep Baltimore beautiful…block by block and neighborhood to neighborhood.” Over the course of five weekends this fall, several local students engaged in neighborhood clean-up projects in the Glen neighborhood, while sharing information about the community association, Baltimore city services and the Councilman’s office. The program offered an opportunity both to beautify the neighborhood and safely connect with neighbors.
