CHAI is Building Strong Communities for Life through Meaningful Connections
Events are a great way to build community and share resources, and we have a lot of them here in northwest Baltimore! CHAI was excited to join our neighbors for the 4th annual Taste of Northwest Festival on August 10 and the first-ever Pikesville Community Back to School Festival on August 11. Both events brought neighbors together for an opportunity to connect, learn about various resources, enjoy fun activities, and eat delicious food. Taste of Northwest attracted residents from across the area to celebrate it as a wonderful place to live, work, and play. The event even caught the attention of the Baltimore Sun, which highlighted the fun in a full page spread. And at the Back to School Festival, Community School Facilitators from Bedford Elementary, Milbrook Elementary, Pikesville Middle, Wellwood International, and Woodholme Elementary brought families from the five schools together to prepare for the school year and bid farewell to summer.
