CHAI Hosts JPro Attendees at Woodland Gardens

May 8, 2025

Earlier this week, CHAI welcomed a group of JPro conference attendees for a Baltimore site visit ahead of the conference kickoff. Jewish communal professionals from across the U.S. and Canada toured Woodland Gardens I and II and attended a panel on the history of Park Heights and the Pimlico Race Course. Speakers included Maryland Delegate Sandy Rosenberg, Swata Gandhi of the Maryland Thoroughbred Racetrack Operating Authority, Bishop Troy Randall of the Pimlico Compact Advisory Board, and CHAI’s Lisa Budlow and Tiffany Nicolette. Afterwards, Lisa led the group on a neighborhood tour highlighting residential streets, the 21st Century school, and the racetrack. Visitors learned a lot about housing and community development in northwest Baltimore, and CHAI valued the opportunity to showcase the impact of our investments in housing and community-building in Park Heights.
