CHAI Celebrates 40 Years with a Spectacular Event
CHAI was thrilled to welcome nearly 250 community members, partners, supporters, board members, past presidents, family, and friends to our 40th Anniversary Celebration last week. Thank you to all who were able to attend and celebrate with us. The event featured an exhibition of pictures and artifacts from our history that is testimony to the many ways we have served the residents, neighborhoods, and communities of northwest Baltimore. “This event gave CHAI the opportunity to spotlight our impact – from the 17 housing communities we have built to the countless families we have helped get into homes to the community we have built alongside neighbors. We are so proud of the way CHAI has strengthened northwest Baltimore over the past four decades,” said Peter Burstein, Board President. It was a remarkable evening of camaraderie and reflection, and an inspiration for us for the next four decades and beyond. We are grateful for the generosity of our sponsors, whose support will help sustain this important work for years to come.
