Celebrating Investment in Park Heights

CHAI hosted community members and neighborhood stakeholders at a groundbreaking ceremony on May 8 for Woodland Gardens I, a 63-unit family rental property that will provide connected and affordable living for northwest Baltimore residents. The ceremony was held on the Woodland Gardens campus, offering the opportunity to showcase CHAI’s Woodland Gardens II, an affordable senior housing project which will open this summer and is currently accepting applications. Guests gathered to hear inspiring remarks from CHAI’s CEO, Lisa K. Budlow, Mayor Brandon Scott, Secretary of Housing Jake Day, City Council Vice President Sharon Green Middleton and representatives from project funders and partner organizations. CHAI would like to thank all the speakers, guests, staff, funders, community partners and press for showing support for this project – exciting progress and an important investment in Park Heights.
