Celebrating and Strengthening Community Across Park Heights and Pikesville

On March 23, community spirit was on full display across Park Heights and Pikesville, as neighbors came together to celebrate, connect, and care for their neighborhoods. More than 600 community members attended the One Park Heights Family Festival at the Baltimore City Public Safety Training Facility, enjoying science shows, face painting, storytelling, food, and a vibrant resource fair. Sponsored by the Samuel I. Rosenberg Fund, the festival was part of the One Park Heights campaign, a collaborative effort led by nonprofits including CHAI, faith leaders, and local organizations to promote unity and pride. That same day, over 25 volunteers joined the Pikesville Downtown Partnership and WesBanco for a community cleanup of Reisterstown Road, with support from County Council leaders. This effort was part of a larger initiative to revitalize Pikesville’s commercial corridor. CHAI is proud to help lead initiatives such as these that strengthen community and build connection.
