Building a Healthy Society for All
As an agency founded in the Jewish community, CHAI’s work is informed and inspired by Jewish values, teachings, and history. Our experience of marginalization drives us to work alongside neighbors of all faiths to help create a whole, just, and inclusive community. The first annual One Park Heights Fall Festival held last month — co-hosted by CHAI, Baltimore Jewish Council, and the Northwest Baltimore Partnership — was a fun and engaging event where diverse communities came together together to build relationships and create connections that strengthen northwest Baltimore. As noted in this Weinberg Foundation blog featuring CHAI’s work, our affordable housing development, including Woodland Gardens I & II, represents another way CHAI leans into its values and contributes to uplifting all of northwest Baltimore. CHAI is proud to honor our Jewish foundation as we do our part to build a healthy society for all.
