Addressing Food Insecurity in the Observant Community

Each Thursday, CHAI staff and volunteers distribute a total of 400 boxes of shelf-stable groceries and fresh produce to community members who are experiencing food insecurity. Now, through a generous donation from The Associated: Jewish Federation of Baltimore, CHAI is able to provide an additional 50 boxes of kosher shelf-stable groceries to help meet the needs of the Orthodox community. The response has been overwhelmingly positive.
