Senior Home Repair and Benefits
CHAI's Senior Home Repair and Senior Benefits Programs offer home repair and safety modifications, and benefit counseling.
Need a lift? CHAI's Northwest Senior Shuttle and our volunteer-powered ride program, CHAIway, can help you get around town!
The Tech-Knowledge Hub located at the Myerberg Center, provides educational courses for older adults that promote lifelong learning.
CHAI’s Northwest Neighbors Connecting (NNC) serves as a village of interdependent, diverse, caring individuals who give and receive services supporting their ability to age in place and enhancing their physical, emotional and social well-being.
NNC offers its members the opportunity to exchange volunteer services; social events, educational and cultural activities.
CHAI Weinberg Senior Living
CHAI’s Senior Living Communities were developed to provide quality and service-enriched affordable housing to low-income seniors with incomes at, or below, 60% of area median income. CHAI Senior Living Communities offer a social and community-oriented environment for independent seniors 62+ and residents under 62 with a disability.* CHAI is one of the premier developers of such housing in Maryland. Since 1994, CHAI has developed a total of 1,639 units in 16 buildings. CHAI Senior Living Communities are managed by our partner, Edgewood Management.

Senior Living Supportive Services
CHAI, and its partners, offer extensive supportive services to our residents including activity programs, service coordination, transportation and congregate meals through the Eating Together program.

Northwest Senior Shuttle
CHAI operates the Northwest Senior Shuttle in partnership with Action in Maturity (AIM), a non-profit organization located in Baltimore City. The Northwest Senior Shuttle is available to the approximately 1,700 older adults with low to moderate-income living in CHAI’s Senior Living Communities and to members of Northwest Neighbors Connecting (NNC). The Northwest Senior Shuttle offers much-needed transportation to shopping and a variety of entertainment.
Assisted Living at Weinberg Park
CHAI’s Weinberg Park is a vibrant Assisted Living community where older adults can live with confidence, independence and individualized care. Weinberg Park provides three meals per day of kosher cuisine, nursing assistance, medication management, 24-hour emergency response, laundry and housekeeping.
