SENIOR SERVICES

The Jewish community has a higher percentage of elderly than the general population and is facing the challenges of providing care for seniors. The neighborhoods of Northwest Baltimore are nationally recognized as a Naturally Occuring Retirement Community (NORC). NORC's are residential housing developments where people moved decades ago and desire to continue living independently as they grow older. 

In order to remain independent in their homes, t he elderly require supportive services. Something as easy as widened doorways to accommodate a walker allows our parents and grandparents to continue living in their homes and age with dignity and grace, and CHAI is here to help.
